The photo you see above, depicts the tree on the land that Debbie was protecting. This tree was damaged by the neighbor whom Debbie was in dispute with, which ultimately lead to her death.

My Relatives and Friends,
At 11am today, the jury found Roy Garcia guilty of Murder in the First Degree (w/malice and forethought), with Special Circumstances (intentional and lying in wait), of my aunt Debbie Gregg. As you know, this trail began July 31st - 1 year, 8 months and 12 days after Debbie's murder. As you can imagine, this is a huge relief for our family, especially for my mother and Debbie's mother. While we hear about these things happening all the time, it certainly puts things in perspective when you are actually involved. The sentencing will be handed down on November 17th at 9am. How ironic, 2 days before the 2nd anniversary.
