Just looking through old and weird correspondence that
my jazz site generates, I came across your email
(reproduced below, with my response). Actually, I
should have said that your site was great too! I've
just spent a most enjoyable 20 minutes on it. The
random generation of identities through names via
Google is simply superb! Thanks so much for such
excellent entertainment. And thanks for being ironic
about your own name, I have had problems in
English-speaking countries all my life because of this
(name Catalan, surnames Valencian and Finnish).

Also, your Wittgenstein aphorism page is very good - I
read lots of W. at university in my years as a
philosophy student. I'm particularly fond myself of the

have to do is refresh the page to get a fully
"coherent" essay. It makes all the points that need to
be made, I think, about this "philosophical" movement.

Dear Thane - many thanks for your support. My
understanding of how this musician writes his name is
based on how it appears on his records, and in the
biographies. But often people do strange things with
their names and identities, and jazz musicians are no
exception!
