If you're flying in (or out), the closest airport is in Fresno, CA.

If you're driving from the San Francisco Bay Area, the journey has two subportions:

1. Drive from the SF Bay Area to Mariposa (via Modesto and Merced on Highway 99).
2. Drive from Mariposa to the house. This Yahoo map may be useful at some appropriate scaling.

The house is located about 1 mile south of highway 49 between Ahwahnee and Oakhurst, California.

From the direction of Mariposa traveling southeast on Highway 49 toward Oakhurst, go through Ahwahnee.

Turn right on Indian Rock Road (Indian Rock Road comes after Mockingbird Lane, and immediately after a sign for "Lauri Lane" that points to the left).

Alternatively, if you're coming from the direction of Oakhurst, watch for the (smallish) bridge crossing over Miami Creek. This bridge is at the bottom of a long downhill segment about 5 miles outside Oakhurst. The Indian Rock Road turnoff is about 150 yards after Miami Creek.

In either case, follow Indian Rock Road up and to the right for 2 tenths of a mile.

Take the left branch at the Y intersection once you are on the Indian Rock Ranch property.
