Equifax Secure E-commerce Partners Program Signs Top Internet Security Solution Providers

New members ready for expanding availability of next-generation e-commerce solutions

Atlanta, GA, May 4, 1999 - Equifax Secure Inc., the e-commerce solutions division of Equifax Inc., today announced that six new Internet security solution providers will join the Equifax Secure E-Commerce Partners Program to help enterprises move trusted commerce applications to the Internet and other networks. Diversinet, Entegrity, Information Builders, Worldtalk, New Media Productions and Structured Arts have joined a growing list of technology partners working with Equifax Secure to accelerate the use and acceptance of the Internet for e-commerce.

The Equifax Secure E-Commerce Partners Program provides a single, comprehensive resource for next-generation solutions to facilitate highly secure, private e-commerce over the Internet and other networks. Equifax Secure partners support a variety of applications, including secure electronic mail, secure forms, electronic data interchange (EDI), virtual private networks (VPNs), supply chain management, credit/smart card processing/applications, internet banking, and remote secure access, single sign-on and exchange of authorizations.

In addition, Equifax Secure and IBM formed a strategic alliance in June 1998 that utilizes IBM’s Vault Registry technology to issue and manage digital certificates and directory services.
