Structured Arts Delivers CertKitTM PKI Security Toolkit
Digital ID toolkit benefits from 4 months of beta test feedback
CUPERTINO, CALIF., Dec 7, 1998: Structured Arts announced today that it has completed first customer shipments of its CertKitTM X.509 digital certificate toolkit.
"The excellent feedback that we've gotten from customers such as VeriSign and other major cryptographic vendors has made it possible to deliver a high quality certificate handling toolkit with this first release," said Dr. Thane Plambeck, President and CEO of Structured Arts. "We've been through multiple beta drops and have had the opportunity to refine and sharpen the focus of CertKit with each round of feedback. This is a solid product at FCS."
CertKit, a complete stand alone X.509 and LDAP toolkit enabling both embedded and enterprise level applications via simple and complete application interfaces, was designed to provide best-of-breed client authentication, encryption, and digital certificate manipulation tools to developers who need to integrate X.509-based security capabilities into existing software. Applications built using CertKit technology will provide enterprise-wide security solutions that help business professionals conduct business securely while protecting vital information assets.
