Re-issuing the Root CA certificate in Netscape Certificate Servers

A procedure for re-issuing the Root CA certificate for the Netscape Certificate Server (version 1.01) with no change to the name or public key in the certificate. This is required to add the Object Signing CA usage bit, to use a validity period longer than two years, or to add specific extensions beyond those offered at installation.
